Ve.nets: A Unique Network Project

Ve.nets represents a pioneering initiative in the Italian fishing panorama: for the first time, six different Producer Organizations (POs) of the Veneto Region are joining together with a common goal. This innovative project brings together both fishing and aquaculture entities, demonstrating an extraordinary desire for collaboration and sharing.

The ecosystem of the lagoon

The heart of the project is the extraordinary area of the Venetian lagoon, a natural environment of incredible biodiversity that extends between the provinces of Venice, Rovigo and Padua. This territory, characterized by the meeting of fresh and salt water, offers ideal conditions for the production of shellfish and fish of the highest quality.
