This mollusc is offered to different sectors (Ho.Re.Ca., Food Service, DO and GDO) always guaranteeing certain origin, high quality and strict compliance with food safety standards. Thanks to the MSC and organic product brands, it is possible to package the clams with certified and controlled packaging throughout the supply chain.

The production
Fishing practiced by OP Bivalvia Veneto is an ancient tradition, made up of knowledge, techniques and methods handed down from generation to generation. The organization is committed to respecting precise rules to protect the marine habitat, establishing harvesting methods, maximum quantities of fish, exit and landing times, as well as periods of biological rest to promote the restoration of fish stocks. The boats of the associated fishermen, 11 to 15 meters long, operate on average 4 days a week, with about 2 workers on board, and respect a maximum limit of 400 kg of fish per day. The reproductive biological rest lasts 4-5 months a year, to maintain the delicate balance of the marine ecosystem and to guarantee high-quality fish products throughout the year. OP Bivalvia also processes, freezes and sells other fish products typical of the Adriatic Sea.
